Mechanical Designer - Comal Services

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Designer to become a key contributor to our team. The ideal candidate will create precise and detailed designs and drawings using advanced software to support various engineering projects.

Duties

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using CAD software, especially AutoCAD Inventor.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and other designers to understand project requirements and technical specifications.
• Interpret and review technical drawings, sketches, and specifications with accuracy.
• Ensure that all designs meet industry standards and comply with applicable regulations.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and assist with material selection and procurement.
• Participate in design reviews, offering insights to enhance and optimize designs.
• Organize and maintain documentation and files for project reference and compliance.

Skills

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with AutoCAD Inventor.
• Proficiency in CAD software, with a strong focus on AutoCAD Inventor.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings and models.
• Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects efficiently.
• Knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes.
• Background in precision-machined components is preferred.
