A top-tier MEP Engineering firm is actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Designer to join their rapidly-growing team. Our client continues to be recognized as an industry leader in process and facility infrastructure design, working on a wide-range of projects throughout the United States, Canada and Central America!
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in the successful execution of projects, focusing on production in Revit, and AutoCAD drawings
- Layout and design complete systems of assigned projects, including plumbing, hydronic and HVAC
- Prepare design documents, including setting up drawings for plans, isometrics, details and schedules
- Estimate hours and scope of work, contributing to the creation of budgets and project schedules
- Perform accurate design calculations and measurements
- Serve as CAD, Revit and design resource to others and provide training when needed
Qualifications
- AAS Degree in Design/Drafting
- Experience with Mechanical and/or Plumbing Design for: Commercial Office Buildings, K-12 Schools, Hospitals and other healthcare facilities, Retail Buildings, Maintenance Facilities
- Expertise in both Revit and AutoCAD
