Mechanical Designer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is looking for a Mechanical Designer to work under the supervision of a Senior Mechanical Engineer and Project Managers on a portfolio of projects in education, assisted living, hospitality, and commercial office project types.

Required:

• Associates degree or technical drafting certification
• 3+ years’ experience in mechanical design of HVAC systems for commercial buildings
• Familiarity with applicable building codes and associated engineering design practices
• Proficiency using AutoCAD and Revit
• Previous experience with Trane Trace software is a plus

Here is the posted list of responsibilities:

• Design and layout of engineering drawings for building HVAC systems
• Coordinate installation with other trades
• Support workflow of foreman and project managers
• Work from schematic sketches to produce plan drawings
• Organize and file project drawings
• Maintain company drawings and standards
• Interact with clients in on-line coordination meetings and on-site with Project Managers
• Design, size, select, schedule, and specify basic Plumbing system components to include fixtures, specialties, and equipment
• Design and select HVAC systems and equipment

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 depending on experience
