Selectek has an immediate need to hire a Mechanical Designer/Drafter for a temp-to-perm position in the suburbs north of Atlanta, GA.
Job Details
Candidates will create and review designs in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This firm specializes in drive-thru structures, awnings, and menu boards for quick-service restaurants, so work in this role will focus on those types of structures. These designs will include production drawings (detail and assembly) and multi-view drawings of the final manufactured product.
Required
1-5 years of experience in sheet metal design
Proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Ability to make design decisions and interpret architectural drawings
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to complete mathematical calculations
Knowledge of manufacturing machines, design practices, and building materials
Compensation
$24.00-$33.00 per hour based on experience, before permanent conversion.
Schedule
Monday-Friday, flexible on start/end times.
