Mechanical Drafter/Designer at LJ Gonzer Associates

L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Mechanical Drafter/Designer based in Trenton, NJ with our client. This position will be reporting to the President of the company.

Job Duties:

• Prepare drawings and engineering packets for manufacturing including Bills of Material
• Develop, maintain and update AutoDesk Inventor Pro and AutoCAD library for standard parts design
• Design special tooling and jigs for manufacturing
• Create other designs as necessary
• Provide support to manufacturing as required and mentor manufacturing personnel in proper manufacturing techniques

Qualifications:

• Technical/drafting school education or equivalent is required
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and AutoDesk Inventor Pro
• Experience in custom product design
• Knowledge in mechanical hardware assembly
• Ability to work autonomously
• Proficient in MS Word and Excel
