About the Job
Are you seeking a new role in the mechanical design field? Selectek needs a Mechanical Drafter/Detailer for a client located near Marietta, Georgia. Candidates will be utilizing CAD programs to design HVAC and plumbing systems for large-scale commercial projects.
Employment Type: Contract to Direct
Expected Pay Range: $27-$35 per hour, based on experience and education
Location: Marietta, Georgia
Job Duties:
- Design shop drawings of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems
- Create drawings to be used for fabrication, installation, and project closeouts
- Work with the VDC team to coordinate installations and minimize clashes/conflicts on job sites
- Interface with clients and customers
- Maintain company design standards and integrity
- Troubleshoot design issues and work collaboratively with a team of designers
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of three years working with commercial HVAC and plumbing systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Ideal candidates have BIM coordination experience and knowledge of the fabrication process.
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
