Are you a drafter seeking a new role in your field? Selectek needs a Mechanical Drafter for a client located on the south side of Atlanta. Candidates will need a strong background in either manufacturing or sheet metal design projects. This client is ready to interview and offer to candidates with the skills they are seeking!
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Expected Pay Range: $18-$25 per hour
Location: near Forest Park, Georgia South Side of Atlanta
Job Duties:
- Create designs using AutoCAD
- Review redlines and modify drawings from other drafters
- Adapt conceptual designs and sketches from customers
- Assist with shop drawings and fabrication drawings for prefab parts and sheet metal pieces
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of drafting experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience working in manufacturing and commercial design/drafting
- Ideal candidates hold Associates Degree in Drafting or Design Technologies
In addition to these requirements, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as Selectek is unable to provide sponsorship or work visa documentation.
