Mechanical Engineer - Selectek, Inc.

Selectek is looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for concept creation, electronic packaging, thermal design and analysis of cooling solutions, structural analysis, and design for manufacturability and serviceability.

Required:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's Degree is a plus
• Good work ethic
• 2-5 years of design experience
• Continuously looking for details to create a quality product
• Ability to be flexible with changing project schedules
• Good verbal and written communication with the ability to work within a team environment
• Proficiency in 3D CAD
• Experience with FEA and CFD is a plus
• Experience with PTC Creo and Windchill is a plus
• Experience with sheet metal and extrusion fabrication processes is a plus

Job Responsibilities:

• Mechanical Design and documentation using PTC Creo & Windchill.
• BOM creation and management of BOM changes.
• Collaborate with other engineers (Electrical, Optical, Systems, Software, Industrial) for new product designs.
• Collaborate with other departments (Program Managers, Manufacturing Engineering, and Executive Staff) to improve manufacturing process and deliver cutting-edge products according to accelerated schedules.
• Manufacturing support & sustaining engineering.

Salary Range:  $60,000 - $90,000 annual salary
Term of assignment: Direct Hire
Location of Job: Alpharetta, GA
Hours & Shift: Monday - Friday: 7AM – 4PM with flexibility
Overtime: Some on occasion
Travel: No
