GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide engineering and technical services to include but not limited to: technology insertion; performance specifications; system integration; installation support; on-site technical support, and alteration/repair support services in support of surface fleet, submarine, and shore-based installations in support of Hull, Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) machinery and systems support to the US Navy.
LOCATION: West Bethesda, MD.

LOCATION: West Bethesda, MD.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides support to Naval personnel with the removal, installation, modification, repair, and troubleshooting of various HM&E Systems and components.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job.
- Must be able to read and interpret drawings and technical manuals.
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and obtain and maintain a security badge for all military installations and civilian shipyards.
Position Requirements
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical,
Environmental, Systems Engineering, or System Safety
Engineering
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with the US Navy and environmental systems is preferred but not required
- Secret Security clearance preferred.
- Experience working with Environmental Systems is preferred but not required.
