Are you seeking a new role in the engineering field? Selectek needs an HVAC-Focused Mechanical Engineer for a partnering company near Akron, Ohio. Candidates will need a strong background in MEP system design.
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Expected Pay Rate Range: $75,000-$100,000 depending on experience and background
Location: Akron, Ohio
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Five years of experience in HVAC system design/coordination
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit design software
- Knowledge of mechanical and fire codes
- Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience with industrial HVAC design
Job Duties:
- Design heating, air conditioning, and ventilation design for industrial and chemical plants, and attached office facilities
- Perform heating and cooling load calculations
- Review and apply the most recent codes and standards
- Engineer dust and fume collection systems
- Create specs for fire protection system designs
- Oversee production of HVAC, plumbing, and fire system designs
