About the Job
Selectek is partnering with a firm near Charlotte, North Carolina to hire a highly-qualified Mechanical Engineer on a direct hire basis. Candidates will be focused on HVAC system design for a company that specializes in industrial projects. Our client is moving quickly to interview candidates with their desired skills and characteristics!
Expected Pay Range: $100,000-$120,000 annual salary
Location: Charlotte, North Carolina
Job Duties:
- Develop and design HVAC system solutions for large, complex jobs in a range of facilities
- Assist with initial conceptual design
- Survey jobs and develop solutions for customers
- Manage projects through completion
- Budget the job costs
- Perform final designs and generate drawings for permitting
- Travel to work sites as required: could be up to 30% of the year, sites are mostly around NC and SC
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience with HVAC system design and equipment operation
- Strong with problem-solving and strategic thinking
- Ideal candidates hold PE or are able to obtain it
