Selectek is partnering with a company in northeast Atlanta, Georgia to hire a Mechanical Engineer. This company specializes in HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression systems for large-scale projects, so candidates will need a strong mechanical design background.
Employment Type: Temp to Perm
Expected Pay Range: $35-$53 per hour before conversion, depending on experience
Location: northeast Atlanta, GA
Job Duties: Candidates will lead projects engineering and designing HVAC, plumbing, and fire prevention/suppression systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings. This role will require a diverse knowledge of engineering principles and the ability to make independent decisions regarding solutions for engineering issues. Candidates will also need to understand code compliance and QA/QC standards to ensure that deliverables meet specifications and arrive on time.
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and/or fire protection
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection
- Proficient with Microsoft Office systems
- Bachelors degree is a plus
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p. Flexible start/end times available with core office hours of 9:00a-4:00p. Work from home two days per week after 90 day onboarding period.
