A bit about us:
We're a growing, nationally recognized manufacturing organization, and we're adding a Mechanical Engineer to our growing team. This is a full time, direct hire position, with a base salary upwards of $95K, if you have everything we're looking for.
The Mechanical Engineer will collaborate with senior engineers, draftsmen/designers, engineers, and project managers to develop mechanical designs and drawings for railroad maintenance-of-way equipment. Responsibilities include creating and designing new equipment features and product enhancements using 3D models and assemblies, as well as utilizing engineering calculations and software tools to support designs.
The role also involves assisting senior engineers in preparing comprehensive drawing packages and working with project managers to develop new railroad maintenance-of-way equipment. Additionally, the engineer will prepare complete product support packages (Operator/Service Manuals) for field team use.

Job Details
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling is required, with experience in Autodesk Inventor, Vault, and AutoCAD considered a plus.
