Mechanical Engineer - Super73

ABOUT THE ROLE

SUPER73 is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to work onsite at our Irvine, CA HQ! As a Mechanical Engineer at Super73, you will play a pivotal role in the design and development of our next-generation electric bikes. You'll collaborate closely with our talented team to innovate, optimize, and ensure the performance, safety, and reliability of our products.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design and Development: Contribute to the design process for new e-bike models, from concept through to production.

• Mechanical Analysis: Conduct stress analysis, tolerance analysis, and simulations to optimize components and assemblies for performance and durability.

• Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes, perform testing, and analyze results to validate design concepts and iterate improvements.

• Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with manufacturing partners to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.

• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical reports.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for innovation, cost reduction, and efficiency in product development and manufacturing processes.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in mechanical design and development, preferably within the bicycle or electric vehicle industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer) for 3D modeling and design.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and component sourcing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

COMPENSATION:

The salary range in CA for this role is $85,000-$95,000 annually and represents the company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience and qualifications.
