Position Overview:
As part of the talented Navico Group – Power Systems team, you will _support a wide portfolio of marine and RV electrical products. You will work with the cross functional team to develop new innovative products for these markets._

Essential Functions (https://bconline.sharepoint.com/sites/JDRefreshProjectTeam/Shared%20Documents/General/Essential%20Functions%20-%20ADA%20Compliant.pdf) :
+ You are responsible for bringing products from the conceptual phase, through design, prototype, qualification, and into production, following a phase gate development process.
+ You will be expected to work and collaborate with global teams encompassing electrical engineering, industrial design, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and quality.
+ You will work with product management to develop technical product requirements.
+ You will develop detailed test plans.
+ You will create CAD models and drawings.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor Degree – Mechanical Engineering
+ Creo or SolidWorks 3D design experience.
+ Minimum 5 years of New Product Development experience.
+ Proficient user of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
+ Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with injection molded plastics and metal stamping.
+ Experience with marine electrical products.
+ Experience developing products that meet UL, CSA, CE, and ABYC requirements.
+ Experience developing products using a phase gate process.

+ Hybrid office environment. Two to three days required in the office.
+ Electrical test lab
+ Travel 5% or less
