About the Job
Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client, an MEP engineering consultant based in the Pittsburgh area. We are seeking a mid-level Mechanical Engineer with experience specializing in HVAC and/or plumbing and fire protection. The ideal candidate is proficient in AutoCAD and Revit and has expertise in performing load calculations using tools like Carrier HAP, Trane, or eQuest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop hydronic systems for heating and cooling.
- Manage and lead individual projects while mentoring entry-level engineers.
- Engage directly with clients, including architects, engineers, and property owners, to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Strong understanding of HVAC load calculation software (Carrier HAP, Trane, eQuest, etc.).
- EIT or PE license preferred.
Additional Details:
- In-office work required, with limited work-from-home flexibility.
- Local travel under 25%.
