About the Job
Description
- Permanent position for a Mechanical Engineer to design, install and commission extrusion machinery.
- Mechanical design of machinery using SolidWorks.
- Design for manufacturing, including pipe flow, thermal analysis, polymer properties and machining operations.
- Electrical circuitry design.
- Specify equipment for PLCs, timers, relays, valves, thermocouples, temperature and pressure controllers, etc.
Requirements
- BS Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience with mechanical design and project management.
- Experience with machine design.
- Experience with SolidWorks is a plus.
- Experience with electrical circuitry is a plus.
- Ability to travel to customer locations 10-15% of the time.
- Salary based on experience.
