About the Job
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Installer (traveler) installs, services, and repairs electromechanical equipment/machinery at customer sites using hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools following layout drawings and manufacturers instructions, utilizing knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical machinery.
Works under general supervision of a Lead man or Site Supervisor.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years experience with Conveyor and/or Sortation installations.
- Can install conveyor accurately from the prints.
- Mechanically inclined.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights up to 40 ft.
- Own basic hand tools and steel toed safety shoes.
- Ability to stand or walk on concrete or steel grating for an entire shift.
- Ability to operate power tools correctly.
- Detail Oriented.
- Adheres to all safety standards and ensured a safe work area.
- Performs housekeeping and general clean up duties.
- Able to work 58+ hour work weeks.
- Reliable transportation.
- Good Communication skills.
- Good attitude.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Scissorlift certification preferred.

- Steel toed shoes/boots
- Hard Hat

- Long hair tied up at all times while onsite
