Acuren Inspection is looking for a Mechanical Integrity Engineer to support our operations in Tulsa, OK.

Responsibilities:You will work independently on projects and technical assignments that directly impact our operations. Your extensive knowledge of processes and ability to evaluate, innovate, and handle numerous projects are vital to this role. You may be asked to prepare and deliver presentations and lead small, specialized teams to identify and resolve technical and project management issues. Your work will challenge you, and you will operate in a project management capacity with a focus on Mechanical Integrity and Reliability Engineering. Typical job tasks will range from Mechanical Integrity program development to call-out type engineering and API inspections/evaluations. The engineer will be responsible for technical activities, project management, client/customer service, personnel management, and effective communications. The Engineer - Mechanical Integrity will work within an interdisciplinary team of engineers, project controls, NDE specialists, operations managers, and administrators to provide support to clients across multiple industries.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performs a wide spectrum of moderately difficult assignments requiring technical evaluation innovation and judgment while maintaining customer satisfaction.

- Prepares and delivers presentations to individuals.
- Interprets internal and external customer needs, assesses requirements, and identifies responses.
- Works on a combination of engineering specialties covering more than one subject area.
- Collaborates with teams to ensure compliance, build improvement plans, and meet training needs.
- Champions processes procedures and safety standards
- Administers enterprise and site-specific standards and operating requirements for mechanical integrity-related procedures.
- Coordinates compliance procedures for process safety management DOT local and state regulatory standards
- Leads content management of mechanical integrity procedures for focus and working teams.
- Provides support for inspection data management system database IDMS and Computerized Maintenance Management System CMMS.
- Works with software vendors and enterprise IT to ensure database integrity and compliance retention.
- Supports suitability for service for corrosion analysis of inspection data per API and ASME processes.
- Assists with case study asset investigations and provides input for process improvement.
- Manage, track and analyze client projects.
- Manage and participate in regular client meetings.
- Provide Engineer level review of inspection programs implemented by Acuren, ensuring that project deliverables meet Acuren’s quality criteria.
- Review asset documentation and operational data.
- Complete integrity assessments
- Develop work scopes.
- Perform inspection data review, as well as monitor and audit associated NDE activities.
- Determine inspection intervals.
- Inspect field assets when required.
- Prepares project reports, including a description of work done, a conclusion, and recommendations.
- Ensure project deliverables meet Acuren’s criteria for product quality.
- Performs other related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in applicable Engineering or Engineering Technology discipline.
- Solid understanding of OSHA 1910119 J CFR parts 192 Natural Gas and 195 Liquid Pipeline Regulations and NBIC
- Knowledge working with ASME Section VIII Div-1 amp 2 B313 B314 B318 piping codes as well as API-510 570 576 653
- Preferred Experience working with ASME PCC-2 API-579 API-580581 and API-571
- Preferred Experience working with environmental regulations applicable to atmospheric storage tanks API and STI
- PMP, API 510, API 570 and API 653 certification preferred.
- Knowledgeable in static equipment across midstream, chemical, and other industrial assets
- We prefer candidates with knowledge of above-ground facility infrastructure, pipeline integrity management, and cathodic protection programs.
- Thoroughly knowledgeable in ASME and API requirements and procedures pertaining to the evaluation of in-service pressure equipment for continued serviceability.
- Thoroughly knowledgeable in damage mechanisms affecting static equipment in the process industry.
- Substantial experience with project management and project process management
- Experience with program and process development.
- Knowledge of Acuren health and safety policies and procedures
- Excellent communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, data management software, and digital reporting.
