About This Role

PeopleSolutions is partnering with a chemical manufacturing company on the south side of Richmond and is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our maintenance team as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician. In this role, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing environment while contributing to the upkeep of our water chemical production facility.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the maintenance team to learn about our production processes and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on various equipment and machinery.
• Support the maintenance team in ensuring optimal equipment performance.
• Work both indoors and outdoors, exposed to varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, and move around the facility for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
