Position Details:
Title: Mechanical Operations Technician
Location: Lynchburg, VA
Shift: 1st Shift (6am - 4pm) - M-F. Voluntary Weekends (Avg 49-50 hours a week)
Compensation: $20-$25/hr(+) + all travel covered + $45 per day per diem when travelling

Position Description:
The Mechanical Operations Technician is responsible for performing the mechanical assembly of the conveyor system. They will do such tasks as drilling holes and securing equipment, route and fasten conveyor belts through rollers, remove and set rollers, and square the conveyor. They will perform all actions listed in the project blueprints to meet customer specifications. MO Techs will also be required to obtain their forklift license.
Requirements:
A candidate for this role should have a mechanical background. Individuals with backgrounds as millwrights, welders, installers, mechanics and assemblers could be successful in this role. Should have a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should be able to use basic hand tools and ability to accurately read a tape measure within 1/16th of an inch.
