About the role
- We are looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical/Piping Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical and piping systems within industrial environments. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our plant facilities and projects.
What you"ll do
Design and Engineering:
- Develop detailed designs for mechanical and piping systems, including piping layouts, isometrics, and support structures.
- Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and technical drawings.
Project Management:
- Oversee and manage mechanical and piping projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Installation and Maintenance:
- Supervise the installation and commissioning of mechanical and piping systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections to ensure the integrity and efficiency of systems.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all mechanical and piping systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct safety assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with other engineering disciplines, project managers, and contractors to ensure integrated system design and functionality.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and other departments.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mechanical and piping engineering and incorporate them into the company's operations.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Piping Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical and piping engineering, preferably within the manufacturing or process industries.
- Proven experience in designing and installing mechanical and piping systems.
Skills:
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering design tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and piping standards and codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
The pay range for this role is:
145,000 - 175,000 USD per year(OKC HQ)
