Mechanical Project Manager - Gpac

Do you bring 5+ years of Mechanical project management experience? If so, I want to hear from you! A well-established company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to manage and deliver exceptional results. Our project types include Schools, Government Facilities, Hospitals, Manufacturing and Industrial Facilities 

RESPONSIBLITIES

• Lead and manage multiple mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and addressing any variances promptly.
• Manage teams and provide direction and support to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of milestones.
• Promote a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and practices.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
• Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the project, utilizing strong analytical skills and resourcefulness.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, particularly in commercial settings
• Knowledge and experience with piping for Mechanical and plumbing systems
• Proven ability to manage large teams and complex projects 
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Project budgeting skills
• Organized with exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
• Time management skills; able to complete commitments in an accurate and timely manner

DESIRED

• HVAC &/or MEP Experience
• HVAC experience
• Experience and knowledge with Piping for Mechanical and/or Plumbing Systems
