A well-established company is seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to manage and deliver exceptional results. Our project types include Schools, Government Facilities, Hospitals, Manufacturing and Industrial Facilities
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Lead and manage multiple mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and addressing any concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and addressing any variances promptly.
- Manage teams and provide direction and support to ensure effective collaboration and performance.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
- Create and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Promote a culture of safety on the job site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and practices.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project reports.
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the project, utilizing strong analytical skills and resourcefulness.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of experience in mechanical project management, particularly in commercial settings
- Knowledge and experience with piping for Mechanical and plumbing systems
- Proven ability to manage large teams and complex projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Project budgeting skills
- Organized with exceptional prioritization skills and the ability to effectively balance conflicting priorities
- Time management skills; able to complete commitments in an accurate and timely manner
DESIRED
- HVAC &/or MEP Experience
- HVAC experience
- Experience and knowledge with Piping for Mechanical and/or Plumbing Systems
