Job Details
Currently they are looking to bring on board another Project Manager with mechanical contracting experience for projects in the Orlando area.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of mechanical HVAC projects from initiation to completion
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate with teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project requirements are met
- Monitor progress and performance against established objectives, timelines, and budgets
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues in a proactive manner
- Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to provide regular updates on project status and address concerns
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, industry best practices, and company policies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes
- Participate in project review meetings, lessons learned sessions, and post-project evaluations
- Mentor and coach junior team members to foster their professional growth and development
- Review and approve RFI's and submittals
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure work is progressing according to plan
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in MEP Project Management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Experience in project management within the mechanical engineering or construction industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, HVAC, plumbing, and/or industrial processes
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and work effectively under pressure
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities
