POSITION SUMMARY:
Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Mechanical Technician II, Equipment Rental. This individual will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on air compressor stations and industrial Heater Units which includes changing filters, changing oil, and replacing motors, bearings, belts, and fans and other general maintenance. Method Flow is looking for an individual who has the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, who is meticulous, and who has superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently and in a team environment.

- This position will be responsible for the installation and testing of the equipment to ensure it functions properly. This position will also be responsible for analyzing test results and compare to the design specifications.
- Must have the ability to use diagnostic tools to inspect and troubleshoot mechanical equipment for malfunctions.
- Mechanical technicians will repair or replace equipment, machines, or defective components.
- Mechanical technicians will perform daily planned maintenance and periodic inspections of machinery.
- Mechanical technicians will adhere to health and safety practices and policies. They will be responsible for completing assigned safety duties.
- Mechanical technicians may record and analyze data and report findings.
- Must be comfortable with pulling trailers.
- Must be willing to work occasional nights and weekends.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly requires exposure to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and be 21 years of age to drive a Company Truck. CDL license is a plus.
- Two to four years of mechanical experience is required for this position.
- Working with diesel engines is preferred but not required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
- Experience with hand-held tools and assembling parts.
- Experience with multimeters.
- Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
