About the Job
Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Technician with expertise in small/large engines, metal fabrication, and prototype development.
Job Requirements:
Associates Degree in Technical Field or related field, or equivalent education and experience
Five years of experience working with small/large engines or engine powered equipment
Mechanical aptitude and experience
Experience with metal fabrication (plasma cutting, forming, machining, welding)
Proficiency in small engine maintenance
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with sophisticated and/or specialized measurement devices and test equipment
Job Responsibilities:
Fabricate prototype components and assemblies for product testing
Document all aspects of tests including objectives, procedures, results, conclusions, and recommendations
Analyze problems and recommend solutions; expedite prototype parts or assemblies
Perform non-routine assignments of moderate complexity involving various engineering tests
Develop, prepare, and make recommendations for schematics, designs, test procedures, and specifications
Perform other duties as assigned
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
