What You Will Do
We’re looking for a junior or senior mechanical engineer who can apply their leadership and technical skills to drive innovation and provide great value to our customers and end users. You will work in cross-functional teams that deliver technical solutions to real world challenges across the full product lifecycle, from new product development to sustaining. If you have a strong fundamental background and can apply your project engineering and technical expertise in creative and impactful ways, we’d love to meet you.
Primary Responsibilities
Please note the typical hiring range is $112,000 - $150,000 yearly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.

What You Will Do
We’re looking for a junior or senior mechanical engineer who can apply their leadership and technical skills to drive innovation and provide great value to our customers and end users. Primary Responsibilities
- Mechanical design, layout, trade and risk studies contributing to overall ruggedized product architecture which includes major electronic and optical elements.
- Collaboration in a cross disciplinary teams consisting of optical, electrical, materials, systems, manufacturing, assembly, test, supply chain management and regulatory.
- Generate detailed designs with 3D CAD assemblies/components and 2D drawings using PTC CREO and Windchill PLM
- Conduct tolerance analysis, CTE, galvanic analysis as well as associated planning, testing, reviews and interpretation of data.
- Conduct or interpret structural and thermal analysis.
- Deliver manufacturable designs through collaboration and employment of DFM/DFA techniques.
- Documentation and presentation of materials for technical design reviews.
- Support testing regiments, both development and qualification/acceptance, for ruggedized hardware
- Manage development and sustainment through regulatory, contractual, and corporate requirements and established processes.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Partner with customers and vendors to resolve technical issue.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- 3+ years designing electronic circuit boards in a process-controlled environment.
- Excellent team player.
- Knowledge of process-heavy design environment.
- Project Engineering Experience.
- Electromechanical design experience is a plus.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
Salary Range
