In keeping with the Dignity Health core values assists physicians patients and staff in medical records maintenance and retrieval.  Analyzes all medical records

 

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School education or equivalent

Preferred:

• One year Medical Records experience
• Accredited Records Technician or Registered Record Administrator
• Completion of Medical Terminology course

Special Skills:

• Knowledge of computers and terminal digit filing systems
• Ability to follow oral and written instruction
• Ability to communicate effectively with medical staff patients and employees directly and on the telephone
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of materials contained in the medical record
• Ability to follow directions and provide complete clear and concise documentation of work performed
