**Job Title:** Registered Nurse **Job Specialty:** Medical/Surgical **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** Information not provided **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years **License:** Registered Nurse License **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) **Must-Have:** Basic Life Support certification and at least two years of experience in a Medical/Surgical unit **Job Description:** - Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with the healthcare team. - Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions. - Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records. - Administer medications and other treatments as prescribed by the physician. - Educate patients and families about health maintenance and disease prevention. - Coordinate with healthcare team members to ensure patient needs are met. - Provide guidance and supervision to nursing assistants and other support staff. - Adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and policies to ensure a safe and effective patient care environment.
