About The Position
**Job Title:** RN - Adult Services **Job Specialty:** Medical/Surgical (Med/Surg) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 12-hour shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week **Experience:** 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience within the last 3 years **License:** Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) **Certifications:** Basic Life Support, ACLS **Must-Have:** Graduate of an accredited nursing program **Job Description:** - Apply critical thinking and clinical skills to provide quality nursing care to patients. - Utilize effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with a diverse healthcare team. - Document patient information accurately and efficiently according to hospital policies. - Maintain confidentiality and security of patient data and healthcare records. - Demonstrate proficiency in handling medical equipment and technology used in the medical/surgical unit. - Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in nursing care. - Follow safety protocols and infection control guidelines to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. - Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families.
