About The Position
**Job Title:** RN - Acute Care Float **Job Specialty:** RN Registered / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** Day (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Less than 1 year. Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with required clinical hours is required. Direct patient care experience preferred. **License:** RN - Registered Nurse License (Single State or Multi-state Compact) **Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIHSS **Must-Have:** Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, basic computer skills, excellent time management skills, critical thinking, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts to reflect an understanding of cultural diversity. - Partner with patients and significant others through appropriate communication methods to ensure care is aligned with patient goals. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, promoting a respectful and inclusive clinical environment. - Participate and support performance improvement, nursing research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. - Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce and foster a healthy work environment. - Uphold health care system policies, and participate in data collection and evidence-based practice enhancements. - Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum and aid in protocol development to achieve best practice outcomes. - Supports efficient use of human and material resources and complies with all system policies and standards.
