About The Position
**Job Title:** RN Clinical Nurse - Acute Care **Job Specialty:** Registered Nurse / Licensed - Inpatient **Job Duration:** 13 Weeks **Shift:** Day Shift (7a-7p) **Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified **Experience:** Less than 1 year; completion of accredited/approved school of nursing with required clinical hours needed; direct patient care experience preferred **License:** Registered Nurse (Single State) or RN - Multi-state Compact **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required **Must-Have:** - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Basic computer skills - Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills - Customer service skills - Ability to function in a fast-paced environment - Strong critical thinking and excellent time management skills **Job Description:** - Perform the Nursing Process, including assessment, diagnosis, identification of outcomes, planning, implementation, and evaluation, using evidence-based practice. - Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care that adapts service delivery to cultural diversity and population-specific characteristics. - Partner with patients and significant others through appropriate communication methods and ensure patient goals are the focus of the care plan. - Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care and promote an inclusive clinical environment through interdisciplinary communication. - Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration, supporting performance improvement and shared governance at all system levels. - Complete professional competency assessments and mandatory education, and serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and staff to ensure a qualified future workforce. - Promote evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement, participating in activities like value analysis in patient care evaluations. - Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical competencies, and support efficient use of resources. - Participate in the development of protocols and procedures to achieve best practice outcomes and reduce adverse events. - Perform other duties as assigned, upholding standards of work, and code of conduct.
