Join our team at Alger Heights Senior Living Facility in Grand Rapids as a Med Tech. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our valued residents. Currently we have 2nd and 3rd shifts open
As a Med Tech you will be in charge of:
- Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walking
- Administering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical charts
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping duties
- Comply with all safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
- Monitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisor
- Following schedule, assisting residents with repositioning
- Adhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accurately
- Utilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safety
- Assisting other team members with their duties as necessary
- Responding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptly
- Obtain meal trays and assist with eating
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements we ask of you:
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Minimum age of 18 years old
- Experience in medication administration and working with seniors
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Availability to work every other weekend is required
