Job SummaryThe Media Arts Instructor will be responsible for leading art classes of 4 to 20 boys, ages 7-21. We are seeking a reliable, highly motivated candidate with a strong record of working with young people. The Media Arts Instructor will plan and implement an age-appropriate and engaging art program to help members develop confidence and self-expression. He/she will also be responsible for effective classroom management, supervision, and safety of members, ensuring an enjoyable, challenging and meaningful experience. The Media Arts Instructor is responsible for creating lesson plans that develop confidence and self-expression.Job Requirements Frontline employees are not required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, however, BCNY strongly encourages all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and obtain a booster shot.
