This is a temporary 3 month assignment from October 1st, 2024 - December 30th, 2024.

As Media Buyer (MB), your overall objective is to generate consistent & profitable revenue growth for our clients and the agency. You will develop media (primarily audio) schedules that exceed clients’ performance goals. You are also responsible for smooth, efficient, and reliable execution of campaigns, including refinement and optimization, pacing and clearance, and reconciliation. Creating and developing strong relationships with media partners to satisfy clients’ objectives & changing needs are also key elements of this position.
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Use performance, and research data to plan, negotiate & execute media schedules across audio channels.
- Cultivate and maintain excellent relationships with media partners to help client performance
- Find, evaluate, negotiate & promote new media opportunities to create opportunities for clients to scale.
- Assess client schedules’ performance, refining them to improve performance & exceed client goals.
- Oversee junior team members to ensure efficient team operation in meeting all goals.
- Own revision requests due to flight changes & RFPs with defined programs.
- Presents media plans to account management and clients, as needed.
- Helps media coordinator and media reconciliation specialist resolve spot discrepancies & make goods with vendors; own the overall resolution.
- Train junior members of the media team as needed.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 2+ years media buying experience required, direct response buying is a plus.
- Planning experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Strata preferred; experience in at least one media buying system required.
- Proficiency in excel, including pivot tables. Strong numerical aptitude and accuracy.
- Proven negotiation & exceptional organizational skills.
- Strong track record of meeting timelines and deadlines on projects.
- Strong emphasis on accuracy, detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to multi-task and handle fast-paced, demanding environments.
