About the Job
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, public relations, or communications is preferred.
- Four (4) years of experience utilizing content management systems preferred, transferable skill could be considered.
- Skilled in applying graphic design fundamentals to create impactful visual and written materials.
- Strong attention to detail, clarity in communication and effective organizational skills required.
- Proven experience using web design and graphics software including but not limited to the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier) Wix and Canva.
- Proven experience in creating social media posts/campaigns, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, Tic Toc, LinkedIn.
- Critical thought and experience in problem identification and resolution.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 250 days
SALARY:
$68,473/BA-4
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the 2024-2025 school year.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Enhance venues and event on-line presence by creating, developing, and managing content of webpages, social media campaigns and video graphics. Requires working with content management software and graphics software.
- Develop and maintain site standards for web page enhancement.
- Oversee and engage daily across all social media and website properties ensuring timely responses to foster community engagement.
- Development of graphical layouts and promotional materials tailored for event bookings and event ticket sales.
- Update and coordinate marquee and digital signage system postings.
- Assess and recommend enhancements and modifications to the organization’s online presence.
- Track and report all web metrics to gauge online performance.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technical systems at Berry Center, Cy-Fair FCU and Pridgeon stadiums to present graphic enhancements for events.
- Design and coordinate layouts for facility signage, identify vendors and oversee installation.
- Collaborate and coordinate with venue departments, CFISD content creators, and external clients.
- Must be flexible to work events during nights, weekends and holidays, indoors and outdoors, in all types of weather.
- Assist in other projects and duties as assigned
