Media Planner
Location: Remote or New York City
Duration: ~4 months
Pay: up to $72/hr, DOE
Planet Interactive is looking for a Media Planner to join our well known Fortune 500 client on a 4 month contract. This role will be 40 hours per week and can be fully remote (but with preference for New York City).
Responsibilities:
- Develop measurable, media strategies and plans grounded in objectives and audience insights, to deliver innovation and business outcomes to Instagram
- Partner with external media agency, and internal media planning teams to drive cohesive media planning and execution
- Manage multiple media work streams and deliverables to ensure flawless campaign planning and execution
- Maximize relationships and drive influence with cross-functional partners across brand management, creative, decision science, finance, insights, PR and partnerships teams as media’s subject matter expert to develop impactful, integrated work
- Manage the creative trafficking process with marketing and the creative agency ensure flawless campaign planning and execution
- Manage the set-up of brand lift studies in partnership with the external media agency and internal analytics teams
- Effectively analyze campaign performance against aligned to goals for ongoing campaign reporting and marketing leadership visibility
- Establish operational best practices around plan development, media investment management, systems and tools and streamlined measurement
- Manage and brief media and influencer agency partners, enabling them to execute quality work
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 6+ years of experience in managing and executing large scale consumer campaigns and long-term brand building through an integrated media mix
- Experience in measurement, analytics and in gathering audience insights (e.g., IPSOS, Kantar, Google Analytics, Lucid, Nielsen)
- Experience working both strategically as well as in an executional capacity to build and deploy optimization strategies and learning roadmaps
- Managing agency partners to budget, structure, and optimize campaigns
- Structuring ongoing media learning agendas to gain learnings that improve campaign performance, iteratively
- Experience within both agency and client organizations
- Experience working with brands with media strategies comprised on custom content, activations, and influencer marketing
- Experience working directly with creative teams to integrate creative ideas/strategy with media strategy and channel selection
- Experience working directly with data science and/or data analytics teams to integrate media strategy and channel selection with measurement frameworks and learning agendas
