Summary:
We are looking for a media expert with a focus on Paid Social to join our in-house organization responsible for our media planning practice & capabilities across Meta Family of Apps (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), Meta Reality Labs and Meta Corporate Marketing. Our Media Planning team is at the forefront of media, constantly pushing the boundaries of plans to captivate audiences and contribute to business results. We scale and execute best-in-class media plans, seek opportunities for deeper integrations and partnerships, and embrace technologies & capabilities to innovate.In this role, we are seeking a strategic thought leader to drive our paid media presence across Meta owned channels. The individual will define, document and communicate our approach to using our own platforms and continue to build upon best practices and capabilities for our marketing campaigns. They will partner deeply with internal stakeholders across Marketing and cross-functional campaign teams (i.e. Decision Science, Insights, and Creative), MarTech and DR to understand media strategy and planning, partner with agency teams to stay abreast of the social landscape, and connect with internal product / sales teams to identify opportunities to support marketing/media priorities and learnings.Qualified candidates will have demonstrated media experience across paid social channels, including Meta platforms and our advertising tools, as well as the broader digital media landscape. They will have proven leadership experience driving strategy, planning and implementation of Brand focused paid media campaigns with some familiarity/experience with performance/direct response marketing. Ideal candidates should be strategic leaders in the paid social space, capable of influencing up and across stakeholders, setting direction and driving programs to completion. They should thrive in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, results-driven environment and be able to manage multiple projects in parallel.

Media Planning Manager Responsibilities:
1. Define, document and communicate our on platform channel approach, best practices and guidelines for marketing campaigns
2. Lead and further develop on-platform practice and capabilities, including a focus on identifying audience insights, sufficiency integration, and approach to in-product surfaces within integrated marketing campaigns
3. Provide internal thought leadership and strategic guidance to influence upstream media strategy deliverables and support connection into full funnel media plans
4. Partner with agency teams to share and stay abreast of the social landscape, providing in-depth understanding of what’s on the horizon for social
5. Connect with internal product and sales teams to identify alpha / beta opportunities and keep internal teams informed of and operationalize integration of marketing/media priorities and learnings
6. Socialize and drive adoption of on-platform campaign best practices across marketing & cross-functional teams
7. Project manage complex work streams and projects across stakeholders
8. Continue to build the team's identity and establish working relationships with internal partner teams
Minimum Qualifications:

9. 10+ years experience in digital media, 5+ years experience in paid social
10. Expert level experience with Meta Ads Manager and other digital advertising platforms, having crafted media solutions that drive positive marketing outcomes
11. Proven results creating, implementing and measuring a comprehensive full funnel media strategy including audience development leveraging the Meta advertising products
12. Demonstrated leadership in building relationships with cross-functional groups and influencing outcomes across multiple levels of management, teams and disciplines
13. Experience implementing and drawing insights from A/B testing and marketing effectiveness measurement methodologies i.e brand lift studies conversion lift, Media Mix Models etc.
14. Experience working across large national/global advertisers with a focus on brand marketing
15. Demonstrated project management experience
16. Demonstrated experience communicating effectively with cross-functional teams
17. Microsoft Excel experience (e.g. pivot tables, advanced formulas, macros)
18. Agency experience in a paid social role
19. Demonstrated understanding of social media industry

Public Compensation:
$150,000/year to $211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
