Our DISH Media Ad Sales team, headquartered in New York City with additional offices in Chicago, Denver, and Los Angeles, empowers brands to reach their target audiences seamlessly across the DISH and Sling platforms. Specializing in data-driven addressable and programmatic advertising solutions, this innovative and passionate team excels in navigating the dynamic TV advertising landscape.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH’s Media Sales team is a fun, interactive and innovative group primarily split between Englewood, CO and New York City. Our Advertising Operations team is responsible for executing and ensuring optimal performance of the hundreds of linear TV, addressable, and digital campaigns running across DISH STB, Sling TV and TV Everywhere apps. The Advertising Operations Coordinator will support our advertising clients and sales teams by owning the daily operations of airing commercials targeting precise audiences on linear TV and OTT and correct order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Understanding of all trafficking functions including but not limited to: ability to accurately enter ad copy details in the system of record & optimizing revenue in a deadline driven environment
+ Understanding of core systems, workflows, flaws and workarounds, expected and unexpected behavior. Identify, investigate and correct issues related to campaign execution and performance; escalate and collaborate with other internal parties and vendors
+ QA campaign set up to ensure advertising content airs and bills according to media sales requirements; minimizing errors to prevent revenue loss
+ Manage advertising inventory and in-flight delivery across networks and audiences to achieve advertisers’ goals and maximize revenue; provide campaign feedback, updates and recommendations to sales teams
+ Cultivate relationships internally and externally with Sales, Engineering, P&I, Addressable Operations teams, Marketing and PPV, Agencies
+ Enforce best practices and procedures as defined published documents. Crosstrain within the department, participate in ad-hoc projects and assist other Ad Ops teams as needed
+ Identify operational workflow enhancements and help instill best practices related to trafficking and campaign management across the team. Communicate observations of problems and accomplishments of the team with your manager
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Skills and Qualifications:
+ Professional written and verbal communication skills required
+ Exceptionally detail-oriented and organized with an ability to multi-task and execute under aggressive timelines
+ Knowledge of personal computers and data entry required and must be comfortable with multiple operating systems and software applications
+ Industry experience and familiarity with traffic and operations software such as MediaOcean, Crossroad, DealMaker, Imagine, OSI, SeaChange or other broadcast software and tools a plus
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $20.72/Hour - $29.61/Hour

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
