Job Overview
Responsible for reviewing patient medical records and sending claims to payer for reimbursement of services.. As well as collection balance due through following up with payer, overturning denials, correcting claims and resubmitting claims.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform posting charges
• Have a clear and defined understanding of hospital billing
• Perform completion of claims to payers
• Conduct duties in a professional and timely fashion
• Submit billing data to the appropriate insurance providers
• Process claims
• Resolve denial instances
• Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided
• Do Medicare reviews

Qualifications

• 5 Years Experience in Hosspital Billing
• 5 years experience in Medicaid Billing
• GED or Highschool Diploma

This job will be trained in office for 90 days and then will transisiton to remote after 90 days a long as training is complete and employee has a clear understanding of job responsibilties and dutes as well as maintains KPI's to company standard.
