Job Overview - Medical Administrative Assistant:
Step into the role of Medical Administrative Assistant with our client in Philadelphia, PA. You'll be responsible for maintaining office operations, enhancing efficiency, and supporting administrative tasks in a healthcare environment.

Compensation: $24/hour
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities as the Medical Administrative Assistant:

• File Audits: Audit and maintain employee files weekly, contacting staff to update documentation.
• Data Entry: Enter employee data into HHA Exchange (HHAX) and maintain electronic employee files in CareConnect.
• Tracking: Review HHA Exchange to track client authorization expiration dates, contacting coordinators and clients as necessary.
• Coordination: Assist with identifying caregivers for scheduled and last-minute call-outs and provide payroll schedules for approval.
• Management: Clear pre-billing board daily, managing clock-in/out discrepancies and obtaining Missed Punch forms.
• General Office Duties: Answer calls, retrieve/distribute mail, and manage office supplies.

Qualifications for the Medical Administrative Assistant:

• Education: High school diploma required.
• Experience: 1 year in an Office Administrator or Assistant role (homecare, home health, or supports coordination preferred).
• Skills: Outstanding communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Technology: Proficient in MS Office and office management software.
