Medical Assistant - Arlington Heights, IL (Part-Time) - Podiatry Service Company LLC

We are looking for a part-time Medical Assistant with the ability to multitask and able to handle a fast paced, but fun work environment. This position will require travel to our surrounding locations in Des Plaines and Wauconda on a as needed basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Recording medical history and vitals
• Rooming patients
• Assisting physicians with minor in-office medical procedures
• Scheduling testing procedures such as MRI's
• Scheduling patients with other physician offices
• Pre-certifications
• Clean and maintain instruments
• Cleaning treatment rooms
• Communicating patient needs with physicians
• Assisting physician with charting
• Trimming toenails
• Returning patient phone calls
• Some receptionist duties such as answering phones and making patient appointments
• Surgery scheduling
• Administrative duties
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• 1 year of Medical Assistant Experience (preferred)
• Motivated and extremely positive attitude
• Excellent communicator
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance rules and regulations
• Willing and Able to travel to surrounding locations as needed
