About the Job
Qualifications for Medical Assistants
- Assist medical providers with patient examinations & procedures Bilingual Spanish required.
- Cleans and restocks examination rooms, sterilizes instruments, performs routine tests orders by medical providers, i.e. EKG, spirometry, strep screen, blood glucose, urine tests, etc.
- Schedules appointments and prepares specialty referrals as directed
- Observe, report and accurately record relevant information in the patient medical record
- Excellent organizational, customer service and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant Certificate
- Must have at least 2 years' experience working in a healthcare setting providing direct patient care preferably a community health center.
- Valid class C driver license.
