The health system comprises three hospitals, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations. We provide both inpatient and outpatient medical services throughout Southwest Michigan.
Scope of Work
As a Medical Assistant with Corewell Health, you'll be a member of our clinical support team and work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of the best possible care. You'll be a vital part of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of a competency based orientation program Required
1 year of relevant experience working in a physician practice or healthcare setting Preferred
CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CMA) - AAMA American Association of Medical Assistants 120 Days required Or
CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (CCMA) - NHA National Healthcareer Association 120 Days required Or
CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NCMA) - NCCT National Center for Competency Testing 120 Days required Or
CRT-Medical Assistant, Certified (NRCMA) - NAHP National Association for Health Professionals 120 Days required Or
CRT-Medical Assistant, Registered (RMA) - AMT American Medical Technologists 120 Days required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 120 Days required
