Medical Assistant (Contract)

Location:Braintree, MA (Onsite)

Position Overview:
Our client is a supportive, patient-focused practice seeking a contract Medical Assistant to join their team. This role offers hands-on experience within a close-knit, collaborative environment, with potential for a permanent opportunity depending on business needs. Ideal for candidates with a background in healthcare, whether through formal Medical Assistant certification or related experience, such as an orderly or other patient support role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide essential patient care, including tasks such as measuring blood pressure, oxygen levels, and assisting with various patient needs.

• Adapt quickly to new processes and training, supporting the team with flexibility across multiple duties.

• Foster a friendly, collaborative work environment, contributing positively to the close-knit team culture.

Schedule & Compensation:

• Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm; occasional flexibility for an 8am-6pm shift (OT eligible).

• $25-26/hr, with potential for permanent placement based on organizational needs.

Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required; relevant healthcare experience is also welcome.

• Quick learning ability and a collaborative, personable approach.

• Background check required
