Medical Assistant/Business Office Associate at Baylor Surgicare Cityview

Provides direct patient care by assisting patients with changing linens, ambulation, and transport. Maintains a clean and orderly patient care environment. Assists during patient examinations and procedures. Obtains and records patient vital signs, provides nutritional intake and reports results and observations. Demonstrates the primary goal of efficiently providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations. work under supervision with oversight from the Clinical Director/Administrator & Business Office Manager. Front and back office duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
• Minimum 1 year experience in Medical Office
• Surgery Scheduling and insurance verification experience preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
