Medical Assistant - Hire Up Staffing Services

Job Title: Medical Assistant $19-$21/hour or more depending on experience 

Fresno, CA - 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to support our medical team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of experience, specializing in assisting doctors during patient care and taking vitals. Experience with Epic or NexGen is a plus, along with any specialty experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist doctors and medical staff during patient care.
• Take and record patient vitals accurately.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is ready for use.
• Collect and enter patient demographic, clinical, billing, and insurance information.
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by physicians.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by following infection control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, ancillary departments, and nursing units.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of medical assisting experience.
• Previous job tenure of 1-2 years in each role.
• Experience with Epic or NexGen is preferred.
• Specialty experience is a plus.
