As a Medical Assistant/PAR at Texas Fertility Center, you will play a crucial role in managing patient flow and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical experience. You will have the opportunity to assist with rooming and chaperoning patients, collecting their medical history, taking vital signs, reviewing treatment plans, order testing and assist with patient calls and questions. Your attention to detail will be vital in preparing exam rooms for procedures and assisting physicians during fertility procedures. As a Patient Account Representative, you will be responsible for checking in/checking out, collecting fees for services rendered at time of service as well as, scheduling New Patient appointments, sending and retrieving new patient consent forms and creating electronic medical records charts.
Your excellent organizational skills will be put to use in managing patient education materials, prescriptions, orders, and test kits. You will also be responsible for providing injection teaching to patients and administering injections when necessary.
Your strong communication skills will be utilized when communicating laboratory results and physician orders to patients, as well as explaining next steps. Compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations will be essential to maintain the highest standards of quality control.
