Medical Assistant
M-F - 32 hr wk/ day shift
+ The Medical Assistant performs clinical tasks related to assisting providers within the clinical areas.
+ Greets patients and visitors in a professional, courteous manner at all times.
+ Maintains patient confidentiality, respect and HIPAA guidelines at all times.
+ Assists patients and providers preparing with examinations, minor procedures within the office, phlebotomy and/or collection of specimens.
+ Performs blood pressures, vital signs and physical assessment of patient through triage.
+ Performs ancillary testing as ordered by providers.
+ Completes clear, accurate documentation within the patient medical record.
+ Maintains all clinical areas with supplies necessary to function daily.
+ Keeps exam rooms and work areas within the office clean and sanitary at all times.
Education:
+ HS diploma or equivalency is required
Licensure/Certifications:
+ Certification as Medical Assistant and/or completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred.
