About the Job
Nashua Community College is seeking qualified individuals who can teach in specialized training program that helps to prepare students to become immediate and contributing workers in the area of Medical Assisting. This temporary assignment, which exists for a specified contract period (8-12 weeks) and requires in classroom and laboratory instruction.
This position is through our Business and Training Center at NCC and is for non-credit course instruction. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Minimum Qualifications'
Education: A minimum of an earned associate degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a major field of study in nursing or medical assisting.
Experience: Minimum of Three (3) years of practicing as a nurse or medical assistant with an aptitude for teaching in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, with a major field of study in nursing or medical assisting.
- CCMA or RMA Certification
- Higher education teaching experience in the allied health field.
